Retail Product Handler - Weekend and Opening Shifts Available

Job Description:
RPC PRODUCT HANDLER Weekend Shifts Available! Opening Shifts Available! Both Part-Time and Full-Time Positons! The RPC Product Handler is responsible for properly packaged, labeled and shipped to customers in a timely manner to ensure customer satisfaction.
This position is also responsible for properly receiving the product and ensuring it is correctly staged for shipping or put-away.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities 1.
Perform safety check of Powered Industrial Vehicle (PIV) to operation.
Operate PIV in a safe and appropriate manner.
Change batteries at assigned battery station.
Unload shuttles per System or Supervisor discretion and stage in processing area.
Retrieve container verification reports.
Reconcile received parts by verifying the quantity and type; sort by primary location.
Unpack and pack multiple received or ordered parts as necessary.
Scan reconciled parts and move completed skid to primary aisle, staging or overstock location.
Wrap and stack skids in accordance with material handling procedures and deliver parts to designated locations.
Maintain a clean workstation, disposing of scrap material properly.
Inspect parts and/or packages for defects and inform appropriate personnel of non-conforming parts.
Assemble and staple precut corrugated to form a protective box and package parts securely for shipment.
Attach bill of lading (BOL) label to finished package per standard operating procedures (SOP).
Organize and stock workstation with all packaging materials and replenish parts.
Accurately record the number of finished packages on performance log by type.
Ensure proper function of pneumatic box closer and report any failures.
Assist with training other employees.
Participate in team meetings and activities.
Attend all scheduled training sessions.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
